FIRST STEPS

Born in Uruguay, Oliver has a degree in Communication Sciences from the Catholic University of Uruguay and Architecture from the University of the Republic. He also studied acting at the Pilar de León School and did numerous workshops.
In his spare time he is a parachutist and has filmed several commercials in the air.

EXPERIENCE

He stands out for its great versatility. He handles comedy, thriller and emotive pieces. As he is also an actor, he makes an impression for the way he builds characters and directs actors and not actors.
He has directed many soccer players like Diego Godín and Luís Suárez, obtaining with this films prizes to the best commercials of the year in Uruguay.
He has a broad aesthetic sense from his architecture studies, but Oliver also builds a masterful narrative, achieving memorable pieces that touch the viewer.

HIS WORK

He has received prizes in Ojo de Iberoamérica, Campanas de Oro, Desachate and Effies. He is one of the most awarded directors in the last 7 years in Uruguay and was Best Director at Ojo de Iberoamérica 2015.
He works in different Ibero-American markets such as Spain, Mexico, Central America, Ecuador, Colombia, Chile, Peru and of course Uruguay. He has worked for clients such as Pepsi, Movistar, Chevrolet, Diners, Visa, Old Parr, Nescafé etc …
