ABOUT HER

Ester G. Mera is a Galician director interested in cinematographic language and capturing it through other media such as music videos, fashion films and advertising. She graduated in Audiovisual Communication, and she continued her studies at ESCAC, in Barcelona.

HER WORK

A fervent lover of editing, she takes special care of her pieces from the beginning of pre-production to the end of post-production, paying attention to all the details and how to improve them. Her fresh style responds to the need of finding new formulas to achieve the best results, she is always in constant search of new sources of inspiration. She finds inspiration in movies, photography books, art exhibitions, walks in the sun and the chaos of social media.

NOWADAYS

She combines her work as a director with the work of an assistant director, from which she learns from all phases of the production process and from the human teams that make it up.  Additionally, Ester enjoys reading, writing and photography, having published some of her work and writing film criticism and academic essays on film.
